Medical Services

Minnesota’s healthcare system, especially in low-income and underserved communities, continues to face serious challenges. Many families struggle with limited access to quality medical care due to high treatment costs, insufficient insurance coverage, and a shortage of affordable clinics. For vulnerable households, even basic healthcare needs—such as regular checkups, chronic disease management, and access to essential medicines—can be difficult to obtain.

These gaps in healthcare access leave many children and adults at risk for preventable illnesses, including respiratory infections, diabetes complications, untreated injuries, and other chronic conditions. Limited access to health education also contributes to rising cases of lifestyle-related diseases and avoidable medical emergencies.

Recognizing this urgent need, The Charles A. Boakai Educational Foundation is committed to supporting the health and well-being of underserved families across Minnesota and its surrounding communities. We provide free medical services, health awareness programs, and essential medical supplies to individuals who cannot afford private care or hospital bills.

Through our community outreach programs and medical camps, we aim to bring healing, knowledge, and hope to those who need it most—ensuring that families in Minnesota have access to the basic healthcare they deserve.

Our Health and Awareness Programs Include:

  1. Routine medical checkups for families and children.

  2. Free distribution of essential medicines and health supplies.

  3. Guidance on how to identify and respond to urgent medical needs.

  4. First-aid and emergency response training for crisis situations.

  5. Basic self-care and health management education in areas with limited medical access.

Through these initiatives, The Charles A. Boakai Educational Foundation continues to strengthen community health and ensure that even the most vulnerable have access to lifesaving care.
